He's in love!

He's like, "Come with me!"

Tired after running aroung

Laughing it up!

Mojo's girlfriend, Sunshine is growing fast. They have so much fun playing when she visits. he then looks for her at the fence for days until he sees her again. I think, he's in love.

Look a like!

Mojo has a look alike! We are contemplating adopting another dog and while searching to see who needs a home we found Clark. He even has a blog just like Mojo. These are pictures of CLARK!

If you or someone you know are interested in Clark check out his info at this site.

Mojo on vacation!

Mojo went again with us on vacation this year. He loved his two weeks in the Northwoods. This year he even played in the lake and stayed by us without the leash. Well, until his friend Frank (a Bernese Mountain Dog) came out to sun and well Mojo was off. Thankfully he came back when we called him!

Mojo never actually swam but he went pretty far in the water. As soon as he would start to float he would gallop back to safety! It was great having him in the water. After I used the Furminator on him and he swam, the heavy shedding he was doing subsided, thankfully!

Mojo having fun!

Meeting a new friend. Mojo had fun meeting our neighbors newest grandchild! Well, actually their grandkids new dog, Sunshine. She's a yellow lab who's maybe 5 months old. Her and Mojo ran along the fence for a very long time. It was really cute. Mojo has a lot of energy because the puppy tired way before Mojo did. Whenever either one of them would stop and the other still wanted to go, they would bark. It was like they were telling eachother, "Come on, let's go!"

Happy Birthday Mojo!

Happy Birthday Mojo! You are 2 now and such a good dog. Annabelle loves you so much that she insists on sharing her birthday with you. I only wish we exposed you to dogs more often. We will work on it this year. Mojo has given us so much and we assume he is happy since he is so good. If you have ever wanted a dog, please get one from a rescue. Our experience has been awesome, so much so that we almost got another one this month, but we'll wait for a more stable financial situation before we go down this road.
For Mojo's birthday, he got a new collar and some new training toys. He loves to learn!

Minocqua for his first time!

Mojo traveled for 6 1/2 hours with us up to Minocqua, Wisc this summer. He was such a good traveler. He slept most of the way. He seemed to adjust to the change of homes with no problems. The place we stayed had a dog run which we used as his "spot" a place for him to do #2! For those who don't know we try to have our dog do his duty in one spot in the yard so we can enjoy our yard without worring about dog bombs! We call this his "spot" and it seems to work. Mojo is very smart. While on vacation we walked hills and Mojo met a friend where we stayed, the owners puppy, Frankie. They learned to play very well together. I am quite proud of Mojo. He of course looked for Frankie every day and would whine a bit if he didn't get to go out and play but eventually he learned the better he behaved the more he got to play.

Frankie and Mojo had some fun in the water and almost wandered to far when they decided chasing ducks was fun too! Thankfully, Mojo came when called. On vacation we allowed stick chewing. I was nervous that Mojo would get hurt but I tried to go with the flow. He's not the first dog to chew on sticks and won't be the last. He seemed to enjoy it.

Mojo went on his first boat ride while on vacation and didn't seem to like it. He shook the whole time, poor guy. Mark had to carry him onto the boat. He wanted nothing to do with it. Mojo loved to lay out on the screened in porch in the son during the afternoons, just like at home. Mojo slept almost the whole day our first day home and seemed a bit sad. I think he missed his friend.
