Puppy = Lots of Play + Lots of Rest

Mojo and Thor have had a great first week getting acquainted with each other. Thor is doing well learning his name and the rules of the house. He's getting the "Sit", "Leave it" and "Stay" command. He has also learned to go to his crate when we eat at the table. We don't even need to close the door. Although he has ran out a couple of times just to find out that we can catch him in the house! LOL!

Play time!

Mojo being a good sport letting Thor chew on him.

Mojo enjoying his bone.

Thor enjoying his bone.

Thor resting after a long day. Note the
bone being kept in a safe place while he rests.

Mojo and Thor

Scott coming back from what he
descripes as another "Epic" walk with Thor and Mojo

Me with Mojo and Thor on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Looks like everyone is quite comfortable
 at home here, including Annabelle!
Mojo and Thor both seem to be adjusting very well. I am very pleased with how much Annabelle and Scott are helping out with Mojo and Thor. We've had a great first three days so far and will see how Thor reacts to Mark when he comes home from his fishing trip tonight.

It's official - Mojo's a big brother

After an introduction walk we introduced
Thor to the house. Mojo supervised.

Yeah Scott, we will play with you later.

Mojo to Thor "You go that way and I'll go this way"

I've see this same look from my kids - "Yessss Mommmm"

That was a great meal - thanks!

I'm a little tired so I'm going to rest now, if you don't mind.
Today we introduced Mojo to his new brother Thor. Thor is 4-5 months old and so far fits in great with this family. He traveled well with us up from Kentucky and met Mojo on a walk today. I was so proud of Mojo. He was so good and seems to be taking to his new role without any hesitation.  He's even sharing his toys. Thor like most puppies like to follow us and Mojo around, but true to the Malinois breed when they are tired of you they go do their own thing. If today was any sign of the future then we are one lucky family.

Mojo's vacation 2011

Mojo giving us a smile. We've never seen him do this before!

He's like what are you doing, let's go swim!

Annabelle and Mojo in the water

Mojo getting out to dry

Mojo walked the Bear Skin Trail with us this year.
He loved the long walk through the woods.
Once again, Mojo enjoyed the Northwoods with us. He travels so well in the truck and with the kids that he is a joy to take with us. He didn't sleep well the first few nights because he didn't have access to his crate, but once we figured that out he was a happy camper. I guess he really thinks of it as his room. Lesson learned for all of us.

8th Grade Graduation (Part 2) Oops wrong Blog!

Gettting excited about being a Knight, Scott chose to wear his high school colors under his graduation gown.

He looked so good we all wanted a picture with him. Here he is with Grandma.

Mark and Scott

Scott and Annabelle. What??? Looks like she dressed to match. Good call.

Me and Scott. Yes, he's finally taller than I.

Papa, Scott and Mana.

Godfather (Uncle) Kevin and Aunt Dana.
It was great to see Scott embrace the new clothes he picked out himself. The boy has some style, that's for sure.

Mojo's newest cousin

Charlie - The Seymours dog. Isn't he a beauty?

Mojo, a bit tired out.

I don't like how dogs play but they seemed to enjoy it.

Mark and Mike made great referees.

After a rough introduction, these two dogs ended up being pretty good. They are both good dogs, we were all pleased. I'm not sure about Charlie, but Mojo slept great that evening.

Mojo turned 3!

Mojo and his gal Annabelle

Happy Birthday to Mojo and Annabelle. She loves this dog so much she insisted he be on the cake!

Mojo loving the snow storms natural drifts so he could get around the yard.

We have been blessed to have Mojo be a member of our family. We can not believe he's 3 already. He was rescued at 7 months and he's been such a great dog. People who do not have pets will never understand how a pet like Mojo can just make you smile even on a bad day. Although Mojo likes the snow in winter, we know he loves the warmth and sunshine of summer. On days when we get tricked by sun he lays in it by the back door, hoping for that first spring day when he can just lay in the sun and bake. He's my kind of dog!
